Kentucky’s Approach to the Implementation of Oil and Natural Gas Air Pollution Standard found in 40 CFR 60 Subpart OOOO
POSTED BYKyle Hagen, P.E.
Currently the Storage Vessels (Tanks that store crude oil, condensate, intermediate hydrocarbon liquids or produced water) located at oil and natural gas production well facilities, gathering facilities, gas processing facilities and transmission facilities are required to meet the requirements found in the federal regulation, 40 CFR 60 Subpart OOOO. To find out more about this regulation and to determine if you tanks meet the applicability requirements of the regulation please check out the recent presentation that I gave at the Eastern Unconventional Oil and Gas Symposium on November 7, 2014 located here.
In addition, you can read more about the current federal oil and gas regulations at EPA’s website.
